An exploration of letters and type
This assignment was to explore different kinds of type. Typographic abstractions, display type, secondary type, etc. This was to help understand that letters are shaped by the designer to help lure readers in. We were assigned to find examples of type and relate it back to how language and/or dialect are spoken through these forms.
By using a complication of quotes and essays, in regards to how type is interpreted, I stitched together this book that helped communicate the unique and various executions made by artists around the web and Chicagoland area. Throughout the book, you'll notice dots in line form spanning across pages simply symbolizing continuation. The "..." aspect when reading is present - from the very first page up until the end of the book.
